Honor Roll Policy

STONE BANK SCHOOL DISTRICT

Policy 345.1



The Stone Bank School Board, in keeping with the mission statement of the school district, the philosophy of the grading policy (345.1), and in cooperation with the middle school staff, expects students to meet the following criteria to be eligible for the quarterly honor roll. In addition to the high academic standards set by this policy, it will also be the criteria for participating in any interscholastic athletic activities and student governance programs.

Middle school students, in order to be eligible for the quarterly honor roll, must have earned a B average during the nine week grading period. This criteria also requires that a student cannot receive a D, an F or an incomplete in any subject area during that same time.

A student who earns an A+ or A average will be recognized with Highest Honors, A- will be recognized with High Honors and B+ or B will be recognized with Honors.

A four point honor roll code values will be used in determining eligibility.

A+ (4.20 points) Highest Honors

A (4.00 points) Highest Honors

(3.80 points) High Honors

B+ (3.60 points) Honors

B (3.40 points) Honors

B- (3.20 points)

C+ (3.00 points)

C (2.80 points)

C- (2.60 points)

D+ (2.40 points)

D (2.20 points)

D- (2.00 point)
