Hello! My name is Rachel Kopplin and this is my 7th year at Stone Bank. I have taught 5th grade and 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA.
My husband, Josh, and I welcomed our first child, Maeve last April and we have a 74-pound “lap dog” named Annie.
I graduated with my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership/Administration from UW- Lacrosse in December 2023.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting, watching and playing sports, and spending time with my family.
Weekly Expectations
Grammar- No Red Ink is assigned weekly. Notes are provided in class. Practice & Quizzes are due on Fridays at 3 pm.
Root Words- Root words are distributed on Mondays. Spelling and grammar quizzes are on Thursday & Friday.
IXL- Students are expected to complete 3 recommended skills each week. Skills need to be completed by Sunday at midnight.
Reading Plan- Students have personalized reading plans in their reading notebooks. I sign off on each plan as they finish each book. They have reading expectations each weekday.
