Stone Bank School is expanding its commitment to student leadership by merging the Student Council and Middle School Leadership Team into a single, unified group: the Student Leadership Council. This new council will include the current Student Council officers—President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer—along with newly added grade-level representatives.
Open to students in grades 6 through 8, the Student Leadership Council is designed to foster leadership, teamwork, and civic responsibility. Through structured opportunities both in and out of school, students will develop leadership skills, build confidence, and serve as positive role models within their school and community.
Participants will take part in a variety of service projects, including volunteering at school events such as Reading Buddies and STEM Night, as well as off-campus initiatives with organizations like Zachariah’s Acres, Journey 21, and Honor Flight. We look forward to expanding this list; please feel free to share any additional ideas or opportunities.
This initiative helps students gain a deeper understanding of service, grow personally, and develop responsibility, all while making a meaningful impact on those around them.
If you have a child who is interested in participating, registration is now open. Contact Sarah Beneker at s.beneker@stonebank.k12.wi.us
